An admission ticket for home games of the Bremerhaven Polar Bears (Eisbären Bremerhaven) will once again be a valid ticket for all BREMERHAVEN BUS lines during the 2018/2019 season. Ticket validity will commence three hours before the game and will end at closing time.

Additionally, the Basketball Express will be running in direction north and south after each home game of the Bremerhaven Polar Bears. The line will commence running from the auxiliary stop in both directions approx. 15 minutes after the final whistle.

Each admission ticket to the City Theatre Bremerhaven is valid as a BusTicket with BREMERHAVEN BUS during the 2018/2019 theatre season. Theatre visitors can present their admission ticket to travel free of charge on any line of the BREMERHAVEN BUS fleet to the theatre and back. The ComboTicket is valid three hours before the start of the show, and the return trip can be taken at any time before end of operations on the validity date. On your trip to the Folk Theatre (Volksbühne) it will even suffice to present your booking confirmation.

In addition to the scheduled routes to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) after the end of the show, BREMERHAVEN BUS also offers an additional route with connection to Bremen:
The ALT (on-call route taxi) for line 502 departs from the stop ‘Hochschule Bremerhaven/Stadttheater’ at 10:47 pm in direction central train station (Hauptbahnhof). The VBN tariff applies for the ALT as well, with no additional payment required. The ALT will, however, only be available if a passenger request has been registered at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure (call: +49 (0)4 71 - 30 03 77 7).

DiscoveryCARD Bremen, a special offering of the Tourist Centre Bremen, can be used as a one, two or three-day travel ticket for the tariff zones 100 and 101 in Bremen City (bus, tram, and regional trains in Bremen and Bremen North) starting at 6 pm on the afternoon before the start date of the ticket.

All tickets (online tickets, season tickets and single tickets) entitle holders to take any bus within the VWG network for up to four hours before and after the event. This rule applies for journeys to and from all Bundesliga home games and international games (e. g. Champions League), for up to four hours before and after the game.

An admission ticket for home games of the Fishtown Penguins (Fischtown Pinguins) will once again be a valid ticket for all BREMERHAVEN BUS lines during the 2018/2019 season.

Ticket validity will commence three hours before the game and will end at closing time. The ticket is also valid for DB, NordWestBahn, and on all BSAG vehicles on the route between Bremen and Bremerhaven. The ticket will also be valid with evb from and to Buxtehude or Cuxhaven three hours before the start of the match and for the return journey. Additionally, the Icehockey Express will be running in direction north and south after each home game of the Fishtown Penguins. The line will commence running from Stresemannstraße in both directions about 15 minutes after the final whistle.

include the following possibilities for the use of buses and trains in the transport network Bremen / Niedersachsen (VBN):

1)     Passengers who have booked a round-trip ticket at Hal över can use the public transport system of the VBN to and from the cruise terminals.

2)     Passengers who have booked a round-trip ticket at Hal över can use the public transport system of the VBN for the return journey in place of the ship.

3)     Passengers who have a bicycle ticket for the cruise may bring their bicycle along in accordance with the VBN utilisation possibilities.

These regulations apply to tickets purchased at Hal över or at the box offices – including those received at the ticket pavilion at the Martinianleger immediately before boarding - for the shipping routes above.

Excluded are tickets purchased on the internet as well as discounted tickets. In the case of these tickets, unfortunately, free use of the public transport system is not possible.

The attractive service offered jointly by VWG Oldenburg and OLantis allows visitors to access the OLantis conveniently and safely from 1pm to 9pm Monday to Friday. The special feature about this is that entry to the OLantis adventure world is already included in the OLantis combo ticket – without any time restrictions. Adults can thus enjoy a round trip on VWG buses plus free pool entry from 1pm to 9pm for just 7 Euros. Children only pay 5 Euros.
Tickets may be purchased from all VWG presale offices, the customer centres at Oldenburg central bus station (ZOB) and Lappan, or directly from the driver.

The offer is valid from 1pm onwards Monday to Friday. Tickets are available from 12pm onwards onboard the VWG buses, or from 1pm onwards at OLantis. The ticket is not valid on public holidays, or on special events. The combo ticket entitles holders to use the VWG bus lines and enter the OLantis adventure world (indoor or outdoor pool).

Tickets to the State Theatre double up as round-trip tickets on all VWG lines 2 hours prior to the event. The tickets must display the VWG logo.

Ride & Fly
Free public transport to the flight

Ride & Fly is a cooperation between the VDV and transport associations and companies, as well as associated cooperation partners.
Within the VBN region, passengers may travel to and from Bremen Airport by public transport using their flight ticket. The necessary travel authorisation is automatically included in the travel documents issued by the tour operator or can be booked for this purpose. You can find more information here: Ride & Fly.

Rail & Fly inclusive -
A cooperation between Deutsche Bahn AG (German Railways), the VDV and participating tour operators

Rail & Fly inclusive allows the traveler to travel to and from Bremen Airport by bus and train without having to buy a public transport ticket. Rail travel in the tariff area of the Deutsche Bahn AG is included as well as local public transport routes offered by the participating transport associations. In Bremen, the airport can be easily reached using the No. 6 tram line, which stops directly in front of the airport.

Home game tickets (season and single tickets) entitle holders to use all buses within the VWG Oldenburg network up to four hours before and after the game.

The combo ticket can be purchased onboard on the game day itself. It is also presold at the Oldenburg central bus station (ZOB)'s customer centres and Lappan.

Each ticket for one of the home games of SV Werder Bremen doubles as a VBN ticket.

Your admission ticket will allow you to travel in the entire VBN region by bus, tram, and commuter trains to the stadium up to 6 hours before the match, and until end of operations on the same day. The ticket is not valid for use on IC / EC (exception: Bremen - Augustfehn) or ICE trains. The ticket applies for all home games of SV Werder Bremen, including DFB Cup matches and other international meetings.

Should you arrive in Bremen by car, then you can use the free Park+Ride service from ‘Hemelinger Hafendamm’ (A1 exit ‘Hemelingen’) all the way to Weser Stadium.
